This is the Roundtable

We are finally here. After months of laying the groundwork, we’re finally ready to share this website to you.

While the covid-19 pandemic has thrown a spanner into some of our plans, we have managed to pull through and still setup shop. We’re glad that you’re with us on this journey.

Why Roundtable Studios?

Many people have been asking me “Why Roundtable Studios?” To put it simply, I drew inspiration from the stories of King Arthur and the Knights at the Roundtable. No, this doesn’t mean we’ll be doing short films about medieval kingdoms (though that would be cool if we do get that chance), but what it means is that when we’re seated at the Roundtable, we are equals — Titles, accolades and hierarchy melts away and we treat each other as equals. We can squabble and fight and have differing opinions, but we discuss things and make it work.

So who joins us at the Roundtable? Of course, first it’s the team, but we also invite our clients and partners to the table. Let us meet and banter and discuss how to make the most out of the goal in front of us. Clients bring their knowledge of the brand that we cannot ignore and our partners bring expertise that we don’t possess. Everyone has their share to play and that’s why the Roundtable is equal.

What will Roundtable Studios do?

We’re going to do what we do best — Tell stories. Our approach to work is to go back to the fundamentals first and then work out the best approach to the business problem. Of course, as photographers and video producers, that will be our main work, but we are not shy to bring on board our creative partners whenever the need arises. Whether it’s corporate work, weddings, events, products and so on, we will use our expertise to create visuals that are effective and engaging.

We are also going to open a studio where we can do photoshoots. The space will also double as our office as our place to crash if we ever need to work until the wee hours of the morning.

We’re excited to grow this business and hopefully make a dent in this video production space.

Godspeed,
Reuben, Co-founder of Roundtable Studios
